I'd check a couple of things. First did you update the disk drivers when you installed OS 9? You should have v8.1.4 drivers for a SCSI drive (Select the disk Icon and Get Info - Cmd-I, the version is in parenthesis at the end of the 'Where' line.) Second, is the drive formatted as Mac OS Extended (the Format line in the Get Info box.) If either one of these is not correct, your Mac may have problems running OS 9.1. I know OS 9 is suppose to run on a Mac OS standard volume, but I have seen and heard of enough werdness to question this. FWIW, my OS 9.1 install problems related to the fact that I have 960MB of RAM and when I installed OS 9.1, it turned VM on and my main HD had less than 1GB of space. Once I turned VM off, my problems went away. -- Mr. PopMan - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - "Does anybody want to play a game of pinball?"
