Credit that to the delivery service not Velocity. I suspect they
underestimated the response and haven't found a manufacturer able to supply
them at better than break-even prices.

I've always received e-mail confirmation of shipment within 72 hours of
submission of my 'net order to VU, and I've always received the shipment
within 18 hours of receipt of such confirmation.

So, the very short order-to-delivery time is a combination of VU's
order-entry-to-order-fulfillment time AND Airborne's portal-to-portal time.

In the most recent offer, which was claimed by several writers to be
inordinately delayed, including the charging of the writer's credit card
without a corresponding shipment to him, I received my order within the 3.75
days (average) which I stated above.
