I think he asked that, because a while ago he has installed an Apple branded
CD-ROM with 40x speed in his 4400 :-)
So to use that CD-ROM you have those options Mark suggests. But I dunno if
the CD-ROM is bootable then.

Chris I suggest you take a look and read Thursdays or Fridays news @
xlr8yourmac.com. Someone with a similar mod in a G4 has fried his mobo and HD
and another G4 doesn't boot anymore after that mod. Even the engineers of
that hub are afraid to test it in their G4s and have sent it back to the
manufacturer. Since you have done a similar mod it can't hurt to read it I
think. This frying is probably only with G4s and a special brand of hubs, but
ya never know.
