See below-

I just tried the card in a J700 with the same results- this is my second
Powerlogix card with the same problem. Am I doing something wrong- or do
they have a bad batch of G3s??

Thanks,
Len

I recently picked up a 9500/132 and am getting ready to make it my main
Mac. Here is the problem:

I just picked up a Powerlogix G3 400/200/1meg cache card and the machine
hangs on startup.

I get the startup chime, but then the system freezes even before the
monitor gets signal from the video card (an ATI Xclaim). I have a 128 meg
ram stick in it. I have tried setting the card to it's rated specs-50 mhz
bus, 8X multiplier for 400 mhz rating on the G3 and also stepping down the
bus to 40mhz with the 8x multiplier, but no help.

I cant even reset the pram- the macine freezes too soon. I have pressed the
Cuda also.

The system works fine with the original 132Mhz card.

Of Course this is a long weekend and no one is at Powerlogix tech support.

Any ideas anyone??

Thanks,

Len
