I run sys 8.6, on a 8600/G3 450. I have tried many things with the Netscape
cache. By far the most stable, and the fastest (lots faster), is to use the RAM
disk that comes with sys 8.6. I have it set up so that the ram disk is erased on
shutdown (not sure if there is another option.)
Getting all of the cache to be erased on shutdown reduces the possibility of
cache causing crashes. (Assuming that shutdown is done every day or two.)
