Yep.
The RAM sits on the mother board.
The G3 upgrade goes in the cpu slot, 
and it does not disturb the RAM. 
Moreover, the G3 card will be happy with the new 60 nanosecond RAM:
(128 MB  60 nanosecond  168 pin  5 volt  FPM  DIMMs)
