After installing my new ATA card, finally got both internal IDE HDs to work along with the original internal SCSI 1MB HD. Can't boot from the IDE drives though, only from the SCSI HD (even after selecting another HD using System Disk).
Now my USB printer doesn't work ! Does anybody know of compatibility issues with the UltraATA 133/100 Pro controller ? I already contacted other World Computing. They said they don't know of any problems. My USB hub does work (other peripherals are working through the hub). Both USB connections in back work fine. My external USB 60GB HD works great ! Imation SuperDisk and ZIP 100 USB drives work just fine. My ancient Apple Personal LaserWriter LS work great too ! Only my USB printer is not working now, but was working flawlessly only several days ago before installing the controller card. -- : - ) - Vern Andrews - - - - - Oregon Trail Descendant < mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > ~~~ < mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Andrews Research & Education ~~ http://www.angelfire.com/ca2/VernAndrews/ http://members.fortunecity.com/vernandrews/indexresearch01.html -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
