>From Barb PowerComputing PowerBase 200 604e..., From: Chrys Cruz This is probably a typo (as Powerbase machines had 603e processors), or is it? Can one actually drop a 604 into the daughtercard slot as an upgrade?
TIA, __C -- Chrys R. Cruz, Exhibit Design & Engineering Liberty Science Center Jersey City NJ 07305 I'm blonde, I'm not computer literate, and the height of stupidity would be to get into a computer discussion with anyone who has "THOSE" kind of credentials. I decided I better recheck the statistics. PowerMac 6400 Processor Powered PC 603ev, machine speed 180 MHz The following is the exact error message when I try to load or run anything on the PowerMac. Warning CD-ROM Tool kit Report File FWB CD-ROM cache File could not be used correctly. Low free disk space or high fragmentation of your chosen cache drive. Please delete it and restart. I apologize to Chrys and all Mac users. I purchased this off eBay as a 604e 200 machine as it was listed. I should have checked under the hood. All you Mac users have told me to install more ram. Thanks, I'm working on it. Thanks to all Mac users Barb -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
