Actually, what I wanted to do was to temporarily use the cd-rom drive's scsi connection for the 9.1 gb drive in order to transfer files from the existing 4.0 gb drive to the 9.1. Once that is accomplished, I'd return the cd-rom drive to it's original location and substitute the 9.1 for the 4.0, keeping the 4.0 as a spare drive. This would probably be a lot easier if I didn't have an internal CD-R drive filling the extra drive bay..... I realize that there might be some issues with aliases but I wonder if I drag the entire contents of my existing drive onto the new one will the invisible files also make the trip?
