yes I noticed that it was a ultra wide (80) converted to narrow (50) but I also noticed I was buying a new drive from OWC and I have had good relations with them in the past.
it also saws it works with a 8600 on the website but I just wanted to make sure so I asked. > If memory serves, a few people on this list have reported problems with these > drives.
