IE5's email client for the mac is called Entourage. Haven't heard of any virus taking advantage of this client yet and its still better than what apple dish out, which is nothing. Yes, you can import like any other email client of any value. File/import. Just like most clients. Probably prefers NS4.7 format over 6 or 7's format.
Anything more than 50mb allocated to NS is over kill and pointless. Even 50 is more than is needed. Fancy giving a browser more mem than the entire OS, shez, its a browser people, thats all it is. NS, like many mac programs it dont return allocated memory to the mem pool after the programs shutdown, that makes for a fair whack of fragmented memory. Great for pose value, not much chop for anything of value. Can't understand your filters not working, perhaps your not configuring them properly. Mozzila and NS7 have high requirements to work. I don't think your 7300/180 cuts the mustard.
