Hmm, I was late to the party and Entourage came with IE5.1. Wouldn't use it myself though it gets around my lan better than NS and wouldn't use a lower version of IE on a mac but I'm yet to upgrade it to IE5.1.5 I've never seen a full version of Claris working though I've recommended Claris lite to 68k user's, but past its prime now days dont you think? Forgive me if there is a newer version around as I haven't tried it and definitely wouldn't pay for a full version of something that comes free with other packages. Including eudora especially.
Actually, I doubt if Claris was apple which explains the lite version. Happy to be wrong. eg Claris was a good program before it became Appleworks (buggy bloatware) owned by apple. By far the best email program I have found was called YAM (yet another mailer) for the amidos platform, still waiting for anything better than this 68k program (open source) on mac or pc. Not surprised IE runs with 12mb, its a little low but you obviously have your mac setup well. Mine runs at 13.5 with less crashing than NS in general but they are both well behaved Please forgive the unintentional Apple slur, M$ have atleast tried to make a decent browser for the mac platform's which is more than can be said of Apple. For mine, the browser out performs nutscrape in most area's and is set out better, that said NS7 is currently the default due to tabs and not much else and is a vast improvement over 6 in every respect. Still some way to go before its as stable as 4.79 Tried icab, nice enough with lots of choices for configuration, dont like the interface and its more handicapped than NS in a M$ world. Mozzila took 4 years to release, not waiting for 4 more before its a decent browser so wont be trying it.
