Hi...Joan, I'm typing this on a 7600...twin of a 7500. I would say....upgrade 
your CPU,get a lot of RAM ( your 7500 can handle aGigabyte+ of RAM) They are 
168-pin-5v-FPM-70ns or lower..60ns is preferable. 604e d-cards in the 
180-233mhz range are very reasonable these days...check on eBay...and 
elsewhere. Also find a 1 meg L2-Cache card if you can...they speed things up 
a bit    Mikie
