Just an update to what is happening with my 7300 and the USB/Firewire combo. As I said before I installed the latest drivers for the PCI USB cards from Apple. I know the cards work because whenever I check system profiler 2 USB ports show up and whenever I plug anything into them the device shows up. I recently tried my AGFA scanner and though it didn't seem to work I did get a USB message saying that "an unknown device has been plugged in and needs proper drivers. Would you like to look for the drivers?" Oh well, the main thing is this card was bought for the Firewire so I guess 1 out of 2 ain't bad. Thanks to those who helped.
