Yes, the Xclaim 3d Pro card uses the Rage PRO chip which is much 
better than the built-in video.   Also, with OS 10.1.5 the 3d Pro 
will now be used to accelerate the on-screen graphics of OS X instead 
of the CPU having to do all the work.   Depending on your screen 
size, it might be worth it to try and acquire the expansion VRAM for 
the card.
