Hi all. I was trying out a hard drive I procured off of ebay (IBM dfhs-s4f 4 gig). I installed 8.5 on it and was unable to keep it mounted. I updated the HD driver with apple's updated HD setup, installed 8.6 update on it and great, it stayed mounted! Was puttering around with something else and next thing I know, I get a type 10 error with a bomb telling me that finder had unexpectedly quit. Restarted and discovered that not only was the drive unmounted, but now under profiler there is a yellow triangle w/ exclamation mark -- says there is no mounted media. I am unable to access it with profiler to reformat it. Hopefully I am making my problem clear to understand. Any suggestions besides making it a paper weight or projectile? Setup is 7300/180 8.6 128 meg
