Terry, I use DSL, not Remote Access.  There really isn't much to 
setting up my DSL.  It either works, or it doesn't !  If it works, 
then the settings (my login in and password) are correct.

The Eudora Error says this, "TCP/IP Error.  706;  Lost connection to 
the server.  (37:547)

Could it be that Eudora 5.1.1 is not compatible with DSL or OS 9.1 ? 
Perhaps I should try Eudora 4.3.2 instead ?

I have no trouble at all with Outlook Express mail, or Netscape mail. 
They both work flawlessly, and very fast !!  In fact, sometimes I am 
quite impressed at just how quickly tons of e-mail goes through with 
either OE or N !!

Maybe I should try trashing the "Settings," in Eudora 5.1.1 and see 
what that does ?
