Terry, I use DSL, not Remote Access. There really isn't much to setting up my DSL. It either works, or it doesn't ! If it works, then the settings (my login in and password) are correct.
The Eudora Error says this, "TCP/IP Error. 706; Lost connection to the server. (37:547) Could it be that Eudora 5.1.1 is not compatible with DSL or OS 9.1 ? Perhaps I should try Eudora 4.3.2 instead ? I have no trouble at all with Outlook Express mail, or Netscape mail. They both work flawlessly, and very fast !! In fact, sometimes I am quite impressed at just how quickly tons of e-mail goes through with either OE or N !! Maybe I should try trashing the "Settings," in Eudora 5.1.1 and see what that does ? -- : - ) - Vern Andrews - - - - - Oregon Trail Descendant < mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > < mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > ~~~ < mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Andrews Research & Education ~~ http://www.angelfire.com/ca2/VernAndrews/ http://members.fortunecity.com/vernandrews/indexresearch01.html -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
