I think you should retime that.  I have and 8500 and one of the dreaded iomega
burners (it was free...so sue me) and it takes 3x as long to burn a CD.  USB
is terribly slow.  6mbps.  That is mega bits per second.  Where SCSI is
5MBps.  That is 5 mega bytes per second or 50 mega bits per second...almost 10
times as fast as USB.  IMHO it should be illegal to manufacture USB CD
burners. ;-)
