Speaking of boosting up the RAM, I currently have 96 MB running in my 7300/200 (OS 8.5.1) in the following configuration:
B4 - 16 MB (DIMM) A4 - 16 MB B2 - 32 MB B1 - 32 MB I use Netscape 4.61 and have incrased the RAM alottment to the Netscape cache -- as a result, things have stabilized (fewer crashes) but the machine operations have slowed down despite cleaning up the HD. I would like to add another 128 MB or more but am wondering which configuration would be best -- 2x64 or one nig 128 stick?? any ideas or suggestions? And whereabouts on the Web can I purchase good DIMM's at reasonable prices? TIA, Sue -=-=-=-=-=- -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
