Dear members:

I tried to install Adobe Acrobat 5 onto my PCI Mac and part of the way
through the installation I got a message that said:

A disk eror occurred while reading from the disk. Please contact
technical support for help. 1008:22,-36 IO Error (Bad Disk)

I am the registered owner of this bad disk...but Adobe has PAY PER VISIT
phone lines and wants a MINIMUM of $20.00 to hear my complaint.

They do have FREE phone assistance but in order to access it I have to
PURCHASE an assistance contract ...( please have credit card information
when calling).

Is there anyway to contact Adobe for less than $20.00 ???

M
