Hi, I have a 7300/180 with PC compatibility card [also 384m Ram, 2m video, 16m on the PC side] running a Maginnovision 15" monitor through a Viewsonic adapter. This unit runs OS 8.1. I would like to run the monitor in 800X600 resolution but this is unavailable as a choice in the 'Monitors and Sound' control panel. I am certain this model will do this resolution, but I am missing something somewhere. Also I am having trouble finding a SIMM that will work with the PC card. I ordered a 64M module from OWC which refuses to work in the PC card but works fine on the Mac side of the same machine. On the other hand the 8M SIMM that the 7300 originally came with works fine in the PC Card. The only difference seems to be that the 8M simm has chips on both sides and the 64M has chips on one sides. Is this the problem? Any help with either of these problems would be appreciated.
