Hi Tim and Adrian,

Like I wrote before, I wonder why, if my IE 5 on 8.6 and now on 9.1 never
freezes - and the last time it did had something to do with Sherlock Indexing
cutting in and my untimely closing of Quicktime 6 (or whatever) that caused
it- that you don't just admit Netscape mystery defeat and go with Explorer?

I take those infrequent enevitable freezes as a sign
to do some routine maintenance anyway
like booting from my Tech Tool Pro to defrag;
running Norton to clean up bad file dates;
wiping trash and 'free space";
rebuilding the desktop, etc.

Lists really 'are' repleat with Netscape version troubles
and workarounds. It seems that Netscape 4.79 has to have
your computer set up just the way it wants it but if you are not sure
 of what that operationally critical 'setup' even is that it insists on,
you'll be plagued with mysterious freezing woes forever.

IE 5 is totally reliable and if it fails it is something I can remedy.
I have never even had ocassion to do a CD re-install in over 2 years.

Cheers,
Terry
