Read about the machine at Low End Mac.   (www.lowendmac.com) They usually 
have good info and advice regarding specific Power Macs.  I will tell you 
that I've known several people who owned 4400s and weren't particularly 
impressed with them.  I also know of a place where you can get a 7200 (a 
better machine) with decent RAM but probably in need of a hard drive upgrade, 
for about $59.
