I'm having a problem with a Quadra 950 - can anyone tell me if this
is some sort of generic Mac power supply problem? I have had two
PowerMacs which would not boot when the PRAM battery got too old.
Replacing the battery solved the problem in that case.

However no one on the Quadlist seems to have an idea. Any and all
leads appreciated; apologies for drifting a little off the PowerMac
topic.

Workgroup Server 95 won't boot...

It did fine a couple weeks ago when I last used it. It has been
plugged into the wall and is theoretically getting a trickle. The
front panel buttons and the keyboard power switch were equally inert.
Nothing. No lights, no sound, no action.

So I thought, bad battery. Replaced the battery on the WGS95, still
won't boot, but now, when I press the power key down on the KB, the
three KB LEDs flash and the LEDs on the front of the 950 flash.

And if I hold the button down, the LED flash about once every two or
three seconds for as long as I hold the button down.
