Yes, the PC version of the 3dfx Voodoo3 16mb PCI card will work in PCI Macs 
(I have one in my 7600).  You need to download 3dfx's beta BIOS flashing 
program to reprogram the BIOS on the card.  Once you do this, it will not 
work in a PC anymore.  Then simply install the included drivers.

There is some support for OpenGL and Glide (many games work), and 
acceleration for the overall interface.  It's a whole lot speedier and 
allows better resolutions than the onboard video on my 7600.  Note that this 
card only has a PC video port, and you'll need a PC monitor or a PC-Mac 
Video adapter.  Also, these drivers work in OS 9.x (I think 8.x too), but 
NOT in OS X.  OS X will not boot if the Voodoo is your primary video card :(
