The -120 is an HFS error. Run Disk first aid, Norton, TechTool Pro, or
whatever you prefer to repair the disk directory. Then try to trash the
items again.

If that fails, create a new folder, put these items in it. Now create 2 new
documents in Simpletext. Save these items with the same names as each of the
items. Drag these items into the folder. You should get a message "do you
want to replace..." Answer yes. After replacing them drag the folder to the
trash and empty it.
