I was called to a customers house last night who had (has) a strange
problem. Internet Explorer will not go anywhere although Outlook
Express and Netscape have no problems. Nothing that was tried helped.
After leaving I had to wonder if the three previous system folders (and
a bunch more junk) that were on the drive was confusing I.E. so bad
that it would not function. Actually, my suggestions were to either
wipe the drive and reinstall, upgrade to a G3 processor, or a 17" iMac.
The latter would be better especially since the customers' brother had
just purchased a new Dell and it was 'really fast'.

Any ideas as to why I.E. is having this problem would be appreciated.
