Be more explicit with "will not go anywhere." Is it failing on hostname
lookup, on actual connect, on data transfer, ... ? Have you tried IE for
other protocols such as FTP to see if it's an HTTP issue?

It seems like the machine's connectivity is intact if Netscape works, tho'.
