I have one, in an 8600/250, upgraded with a Sonnet G3/450, running OS 9.1
with OpenGL update, no experience with OSX
Runs very good, although I expected just a little more "oomph" from it,
compared to the videoboard it replaces (IXmicro 3D 8MB). No
incompatibilities noticed yet between processor and videoboard, also got
a Sonnet ATA133-card in the system, nothing there either.
At the moment it runs a 850AV monitor up to 1920x1440 if needed, although
maximum 1600x1200 goes at 75Hz.
Was especially interested in the DVI connector, so I can add a flatpanel
digitally (when money provides :-).
Bought it from OWC for $115,00, price still valid for email subscribers.
