If you are using system 8 or later the extensions for the 2500 printer are included in the extension manager. Go there and see if it is x'ed on. If not ,x it and restart. Your 2400 will show up in the chooser. Go there and select. The 2400 should then be available on the desk top as the 2500 and it should respond to the print command under the file menu.
