The ol' 9600 G3 (OS 9.1) has problems recognizing one of its 3 hard drives.
Sometimes when I boot I discover that the 9.1gb HD icon is missing. If I open System Profiler the HD will be there "unmounted", though it was initialized last time the machine was running. More than once I have chosen "initialize". But today I didn't, and quit. Next boot, there was the 9.1gb icon, and when I opened System Profiler, there was the HD, no problem at all.
