Thankyou to the people who responded to my question about the 9600 freezing on
startup. I'm in the process of going through the suggestions.

This question is about my daughters 7600/200. I have it connected to the house
ethernet and into a 10/100 switching hub and from there to an adsl modem for internet
sharing. The other 3 computers are ok with this arrangement, but this one cannot
always make the internet sharing connection. I have tcp/ip set to dchp and the ip
addres of the modem is set correctly. I am using netscape 4.7. I have tried re-setting
the tcp/ip settings and then setting them back again. The ethernet cable is plugged in
firmly, and I can "see" the computer on the hub.

Sometimes when I re-start it makes the connection properly and sometimes it doesnt.
Any thoughts on this bizarre behaviour would be appreciated.

Thanks again

Tim Roberts
