www.xlr8yourmac.com's upgrade database reader reports says you'll have 
no problem.

I resurrected an old 8500 that had a G3/300 (I don't remember if it was 
Newer or Sonnet) and it's happy with (2) 9 Gig drives, 608 Mb RAM, a 
Firewire card and a Radeon 7000 video card running 10.2.1;  mainly as 
an in-house server and my wife's web surfer and Alchemy player.
