I'm trying to network a Frankenmac with a 7500 motherboard to a 6100 Nubus Mac through the AAUI port using an Apple transceiver attached to the 6100. When I go into the Appletalk control panel and try to set it for ethernet, I get an unspecified error message which tells me to check my network connection. The transceiver is brand spanking new. I haven't had any trouble setting these machines up with Phonetalk. I'm pretty sure I must be doing something wrong, but I'm danged if I can think what it might be. Can someone out there maybe give me a clue?
