I had been operating with my pre-G3 card for a couple of weeks while my Sonnet card had been sent back to Sonnet for replacement, so I was writing from faulty (carbon, not silicon) memory. Actually, there is an extension with the G3/G4 Cache Profiler; it's called 'G3/G4 Profiler INIT'. When I run G3/G4 Cache Profiler with my 604e card installed, it gives me correct information about processor type, speeds, caches, etc., althought the only thing I can change is the on/off status of the motherboard cache. Your combination of hardware may be too peculiar for the current version of the Profiler. If there's a newer version with, naturally, a different URL, you can probably go to <http://www.powerlogix.com/downloads/> to find it.
