The Ix OEM card that came with the 9600 won't be seen by any version of IxMicro's own drivers, AFAIK. If you're not using it already, you will get a speed boost from using the Apple-supplied driver, a.k.a. the "9600 Graphics Accleration" extension. I believe the 1s from OS 8.5+ are 4.0.6, the latest version. But unfortunately, you don't have the control settings that the Ix cp would have, of course.
