I have my 7300 configured with the startup drive in the lower slot and
have no problem other than it takes about 5 seconds before I get the
smiley Mac.  I have that "scary" floppy disk with the "?" flashing.
Bruce's advice, suggestions have always worked for this lurker, and have
always made sense to me, so I imagine that he's right on this one.
