I recently put my 8500 mobo into my 7600 case and have had quite a few problems since. One problem is that the retail 9.1 CD "doesn't recognize this computer". I'm thinking the problem might be differences in the power supplies between the 8500 and 7600. I thought mobo swapping was just a simple affair of dropping one mobo into the other case. I've already replaced the PRAM battery so that should eliminate that problem.
