Let's not forget about drag and dropping. If you drag-n-drop a picture/pattern file into the Appearance's desktop sample (where you see what pattern/picture is presently) it will place it. However when I was running 8.5 in a PowerMac 4400/200 I had, the desktop pictures would not work most of the times. only a few simpletext screenshots would work, everything else wouldn't work (showed a pink desktop in the sample and would not place anything on screen), PhotoShop saved JPEGs, GIFs even PICT files! dunno why (I know it was not normal) however I had other things to do, so I didn't put a second thought on it. Upgrading to 9.1 solved the problem. I sold the PM 4400/200 not too long ago. -- Liliana Human is the only specie in the world that kill just for the fun of it, because they are the only specie in the world who's capable of hate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Millions of animal species have become extinct because of men, there was only one time when humans where close to extinction; ironically it wasn't because of animals. -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
