A 50% difference should be extremely noticeable...do your windows open 
at half speed...has scrolling suddenly become scroo<yawn>oolling? Does 
moving an image window, in say Photoshop or something result in a slow 
reconstruction of the window where you moved it to? Does Quicktime drop 
frames where it didn't before you switched?

If not, then <Gomer>surprise surprise surprise</Gomer> it's not really 
50% slower, it's just Nortons Utilities being wrong. Again. As Usual.
