I have a 9500, with 1.5 Gig of Memory. I have a G3 in it that is clocking at 519 MHz. I also have a Beige with a G4/400 Mhz, 768 MB Ram, Radeon 7000. Several questions. First, does anyone have an educated opinion as to how the performance comparisons would be, assuming I get the 9500 to Jaguar, vs. the Beige G4. It seems that unless I am using Altivec enabled software, the 519 MHZ G3 will perform faster than the Beige with the G4. Next, I know that there were some Twin Turbo ROMS thats were flashed to make them Apple ROMS. This was due to the need to have an original Apple Video card. I have several of them (Although I cannot remember which was Apple and which was not (A,C Jeff?). If the 9500 with the RAM is faster than the Beige, then I would also take the Radeon and throw it into the 9500. Does it seem the 9500 would perform better then the Beige? The bus speed being the same (or dern close), the Ram, the higher speeds make me think so.
