Yes, however the way I would do this is to install CD burning software on the Mac and use it to write a bootable ISO image to the HDD, then you could transfer this to any machine with a CD-writer and burn the disk, I burn Mac disks on the PC from images all the time with no problem (with an ISO image the burning machine does not need to know what the file system etc on the cd is, it just burns the image bit for bit.)
