I've used a number of SCSI CD burners on my Mac (including a real old 2x
one someone had on a PC at work), and they have always worked with no
drivers or extensions or anything - just plug them in and launch Toast.
So as a simple option I would go with a cheap SCSI one, they seem to be
very reliable.

Also, I have tussled with a Lacie USB writer that just won't work. And I
have heard of many problems with USB writers.

Some help maybe.

Cheers

Michael C
