Here is the sequence: Apple logo shows up Mac OSX - loads Desk top picture shows up Click on mail and there it is. She uses OS 10.2 and Mac mail. Next she tried opening another application: Ok - very interesting. Did the same stuff again but instead of clicking on mail first I clicked on Internet Explorer and it wasn't there. I left explorer open and then clicked on mail and it came back up. So, it must have something to do with the mac mail program. Anyone got any idea how she can make this go away?
