Dale,

I recently installed a P166 card in my 9600. You can download the Mac
side software and some of the PC side software from Apple's site.
Supposedly Apple's latest software for the card is only compatible up to
OS 8.1, but I'm running 8.6 with it no problems except for a network
conflict with newer versions of Open Transport. I believe someone wrote
a patch. I'd try the newer third party PC Setup software for the card
but it requires Windows and I'm only running DOS 6.22 right now.

Hopefully your system included the video loopback cable because the card
will just take up space without it. Also, if it isn't connected already,
to get audio to/from the card a cable is needed from the CD-ROM drive to
the "CD IN" connector on the card, and another from the "REV-SND-OUT"
connector on the card to the CD audio connector on the logic board.
