Hi Peter,
Have everything installed that I need, I think.
Just turned on "LaserWriter 8" and "Printing Library" in the Manager.

I'm still curious what that "Printer Utility" on my OS 9 CD (1.4MB) is about;
is it used in lieu of the above extensions;
and so, unnecessary in my case?

Where should I place the folder of PPD files?

Any ideas on how to minimize the noxious smell of nicotine
permeating this LW II?
I've been wiping is with isopropyl alcohol and the towels are coming
up yellow but I need a better "solution".
The mother of my friend Barb who gave the printer to me, died of
tobacco-related
lung cancer and yet Barb smoked around her kids and still smokes 30 a day.
I thought I was a slow learner!

Thanks Peter!

Terry
