Hi John, Isn't the message more like, "the file or doc. could not be opened because the application that created it cannot be found"? Anyway. . . did you gather up all preferences from the G3's system folder that belong to your programs so as to install them in the 9600's System � ? Did you file-share any program specific extensions and Control Panels over to the 9600 as well?
