I am in the process of getting my B&W G3/350 ready to sell and am trying to
back up its 40 gb HD via crossover cable to my 9600 so that I can erase the
B&W drive. The 9600 drive is 60 gb(both Maxtor) so space is not a problem.
It is partitioned into 3 volumes with 40 gb for the one being used. It also
seems that the new folders on the 9600 took up much more HD space than the
original files--I know this happened in some instances but not consistently.

After moving files, I try to open them on the 9600 and get the message --the
application program could not be opened because it could not be found.

After the fact I tried rebuilding the desktop but it did not help. Any ideas
about this and how should I correct the problem.

Thanks for your assistance.
