need some commentary on this offer on the swaplist.
are these suitable for my performa 6360 PPC?

Last chance before I go to EBay...some of it sold the last time I posted

I went and read at the site, but wasn't sure even after reading quite a
while
this is the item that has me perplexed:

NewerTech MaxPowr G3 400/200
Power PC 750
7MXP+400/200
$100

I just got a performa 6360 PPC from my brother in law as a thanksgiving
gift. It can take a G3/ L2 cache card in the L2 cache slot,
and can handle up to a G3 of 300 or even 400 and a cache of up to 1mb.

but ad doesn't say its an L2 cache card, which is what stops me. if
it's not that, then what is it and where in computer does it go?

I don't know the archicture of the j700 so the serial model numbers
leave me clueless. can you explain a little?

My guess is that if the G3 upgrade doesn't say what it fits, it's most
likely for 7300 7500 7600 8500 8600 9500 9600 PTP S900 and the daughtercard
gang. If someone has a G3 upgrade for the L2 cache slot, they'll know it,
and advertise it as such. At least that's been my experience reading Ebay
ads for the last couple of years.
