Hi,
Just got a Quantum Atlas IV 9GB, 68pin SCSI 3.5" HD to go in my 7600.

I used to have it but seem to have lost the Quantum jumper page. Does
anyone know one?

Two jumpers are set:
No 2: Reserved.
No 3: No Wide.

Questions:

What does the No3 postion jumper do?

As I will be using it as the send HD on a Mac PPC 7600,
can I simply remove the jumper from No2 and use it to register SCSI ID#0
or ID#2 (#0 for the terminated drive, #2 for unterminated)?

I thought the drive was 50-pin, like the setup in my Mac, but
fortunatley I have a 68-pin cable and 50-68-pin adaptor. I also have a
68-pin terminator to put on the end of the SCSI cable chain internally.
How does the termination on the drive work? Do I use the plug
terminator, or set the No.14 jumper (TERMPWR)?

Do I need to set that anyway, whether or not the plug terminator is on
the SCSI chain.

Do I need the No3 jumper at all?

All help appreciated.
